From The Telegraph:
Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan has called on his carefully crafted squad to end the club's 27 years without a trophy. The club won the League Cup in 1976, but after a move to the new Eastlands Stadium and a busy summer in the transfer market, Keegan believes the time is ripe for more success.
"For the first time since I have been at the club I am really happy with the players I have got," said Keegan. "I love the club, I enjoy the rapport with the supporters and I think the new stadium is fantastic.
"But more important than any of that is the fact I can come into training every day knowing we have players with enough potential to challenge the big boys and win something. Being in a league just to make up the numbers has never been of any interest to me."
