A DRESSING ROOM TROPHY

Roy Keane won't be happy if United only win the Worthington Cup.

Keane said: "If this was the only silverware we won it wouldn't please a lot of people - including the players.

"The European Cup, Premiership title and the FA Cup are the trophies people expect us to win.

"If there is nothing at the end of the season then we haven't done the business for two years and I don't think that's really acceptable.

The bare truth

He added: "This season we are five points behind Arsenal, out of the FA Cup and the European Cup is always hard to win. You think maybe you should have enjoyed it all that bit more when you had success because you never know when it is going to stop."

Like boss, like captain

He said: "At the final whistle, knowing you have won the game, you are pleased for the manager and the fans, the staff and your family. Then after five seconds it's 'Let's think about the next game'.

"Even getting the trophy can be a bit of a nuisance. You are left waiting for everybody and, for me, it's a pity they can't give you the trophy in the dressing room."
