"Personally I wouldn't have written a book like that.
Sometimes I think when you are a top player, I wonder if
it's necessary to write a book, whether it's on the football
side or your private life.
"But David decided to do it and sometimes you can get a lot
of criticism come back because of certain things you do say.
I just feel that with the money players are on, there's no
real necessity for them to be writing a book like that.
"It's something he could have stayed away from, although
he'll have his own reasons as to why he wanted to tell
certain stories in his book."
