Barcelona president Joan Laporta has received written confirmation from
United regarding the availability of one Ruud van Nistelrooy. He confirmed
yesterday that

"We received in writing a communication from Manchester saying that he's
not for sale,"

And he then goes on to talk shite

"Van Nistelrooy is a great player but we have never contemplated his
incorporation into our squad.

"If we were interested in reinforcing our centre-forward position, then the
coaches would speak to us and we would say the opportunities that exist."
