Wenger:
"They (Villa) were highly concentrated on just defending.
"They didn't create a lot, they didn't try to create and they could only score if we scored.
"It was a very difficult game because Villa were very cautious. They never came out and it was very difficult to find an opening. I expected Villa to defend well but when I saw the team sheet I knew they would only defend.
"Having got in front, it was important for us not to make a mistake at the back and unfortunately we made one. But the title is still in our hands. I am convinced of that. There is a long way to go, six games, and a lot will happen.
"But we will freshen our legs a bit this week and then we've got the FA Cup semi-final and then the Manchester United game.
"We will be up for it, have no worries about that. I don't think the momentum is especially with United after their win against Liverpool and in football it all changes very quickly.
"We knew at halftime it was a question of patience and of finding the opening. We knew we would score a goal but our big regret is that we gave a goal away.
"We were very professional today but unfortunately we got caught at the back and dropped two points which I thought we deserved."
