"Rivaldo is a fabulous player. He's capable of anything. I remember Manchester United had two 3-3 draws with Barcelona and even then he scored with an overhead kick. He and Ronaldo are world stars - we just have to compete. You like to think it won't faze you but you never know until you get out there. None of us have ever been in this position before. We just have to try and treat it like just another game. But they are a great team and the favourites so it's going to be difficult."
"You look at Ronaldo and what a great player he is. And you can only admire the way he recovered from injury. But Ritchie still remains my hero. I used to watch him play at Oldham and he was head and shoulders the best player as well as scoring all the goals. You don't change. You can't change - even when you're mixing with some of the game's real superstars."
