ANGEL OF DEATH

Ferguson said last week that Chelsea won't relish the trip north, Mourhino has responded with his own assessment of United's trips south.

"What is certain is that Manchester United lost points in the south against Chelsea, Portsmouth and Fulham," said Mourinho.

"They have a problem in the south. We will have to wait and see whether we have a problem up north. But I'm looking forward to those trips. It's England, it gets cold and maybe I will face something unbelievable up north. If I get there and learn something, it will be great."

Mourinho is also worried by the possibility of dropping points during the Christmas period as they have in the past.

"I am aware that Chelsea's record over Christmas in recent years has been pretty bad but I haven't discussed it with the players. I don't go in for statistics from the past like that. I just go for the reality and that is the difficulty of playing four matches over such a short period. But it is difficult for everyone."
