Arsenal Coming To Attack

Arsène Wenger, speaking ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg on Wednesday, has laid out his game plan. "We will be faithful to the game we play," Wenger said. "We go, like we go everywhere in Europe, to score a goal or win the game. If you go to Old Trafford without belief, you make it very difficult from the start for yourselves. We'll go there with belief, with desire and with enjoyment as well because we enjoy where we are and of course we will give absolutely everything to do it.

"I believe that what is important on Wednesday night is that we're at our best. When we are at our best we can beat anybody.

"It is best not to speculate on any weakness of Manchester United because they have experience. But if we are at our best then we have a good chance and we can do it."

Wenger has admitted that former United defender Mikael Silvestre may not be fit for the game, "Silvestre had a back spasm and is 50/50. Djourou came through the game well and we have to see how he responds tomorrow. I believe the only serious problem that we have from today is Silvestre. I don't think Djourou is a doubt. He said to me after the game that he didn't feel [discomfort in] his knee.

"Adebayor is just coming back from injury and Djourou is as well. Djourou's knee was not 100 per cent, but he came through well so I will decide [on] that Tuesday or Wednesday."
