ARSENAL NEW GROUND IN TROUBLE

Two Islington residents have turned to Earthrights
Solicitors to help them fight the planning permission for
the new ground. They will try to take the case to the
European Court of Human Rights, claiming that the club
infringed their rights by withholding information which may
have altered the decision made to grant the planning
permission.

Charlie Hopkins, of EarthRights, said: "Even in December
2001 there was evidence that Arsenal's plans were not
financially viable and this evidence should have been given
to the politicians who made the decision to approve the
plans."
