Asian Tour Too Easy

Nemanja Vidic believes United have to improve after last night's friendly against Inter.

"This is our first strong game of this season," he told MUTV. "Maybe it's better happening today than Sunday. We need to learn.

"We didn't play great in the first half but the second half was better. We were more compact, we kept the shape but I hope the next game we play much better. We must move forward.

"In Asia, I cannot say they were bad games, but they do not have the quality players Inter have. Like I say, it is better happening today than in the first few games of the season."

The Serbian powerhouse is chasing a morale-boosting win over Jose Mourinho's side on Sunday as United look to gear up for the defence of their Premier League title.

"It's nice to win every game, especially against Chelsea," he said. "This is the next big game of the season and we want to win, but we also want to improve ourselves and be ready for the first games of the season."
