Wayne Rooney has said he feels disappointed and that he should have done better this season
"Obviously I would have liked to have scored more goals than I have scored," Rooney told the club's official magazine.
"I've had chances where I should have scored and didn't or where I've been a bit unlucky, like against
"I cost a lot of money and with any player brought in to a new club there are always expectations to do well. If you're not performing well, you will get told.
"It has been a disappointing season here at Manchester United.
"You can't perform one week and not the next. I came to this club to play in the Champions League and win things.
"The last thing I won was the Sunday League with Copplehouse Under-13s. It still has pride of place at home but I want to win trophies here."
