You may well have read about the young man arrested at the demonstration, who has been charged with assaulting a police officer. His parents have contacted Red Issue to ask for your help. Did you see him being arrested at the top of Chester Road? He alleges that he was assaulted by over-zealous police officers before and during his arrest, and would like any witnesses to either the event in question, or any police behaviour that fits such a description, to contact him via Red Issue with a view to providing statements.
