Valencia defender Roberto Ayala told the Sunday Mirror:
“I turned down Liverpool because my opinion is that if I leave Valencia it will be for a bigger club. Manchester United are different. They are the kind of club who interest me a lot. If they came in, it would be impossible to say no - I think I would be a success there.”
