The Mirror reports that Fabien Barthez will not be allowed to move to West Ham to avoid his ban for spitting at a referee in February. Barthez had spat at a Moroccan official during a game in Casablanca. He was originally banned for three months but this was extended until the end of the year by the French FA. The French FA are now trying to make his ban worldwide to make sure he can't play anywhere.
