Dobson owns a 6.5% stake in United and he has lodged a 'chase me, chase me' plea to Glazer.
'Everybody wants to know where they stand,' Dobson told the Scotland on Sunday.
'This will go its own logical way. Glazer may decide to go away, he may go hostile. I'm waiting to see whatever there is to see. I would have to see an official proposal before I would be able to consider a bid of 300p a share. I bought at 127p and I think it has been perfectly clear all along that I am an investor. That is what I do. You can't talk about making profits on investments until you sell them. But that's not to say I am going to sell.'
