BECKS ON ARSE

David Beckham thinks that consistency is the difference between United and Arsenal. He also thinks this current side is getting better. From the Mirror:

"I do admire some of the Arsenal players," said Beckham. "To me, Thierry Henry and Robert Pires are among the best in the world.

"And I do admire what Arsenal have achieved in recent seasons. But ultimately it comes down to a matter of doing it consistently.

"We've won seven of the last nine Premiership titles so they need to prove themselves over the next few seasons both domestically and on the European stage."

"In my opinion, we have a stronger defence than Arsenal, as the statistics show," said Beckham.

"Arsenal won the Double last season and have played some great football this year," said Becks. "But we have been in a transitional phase at United and hopefully that's about to bear fruit with a trophy."

"The new players the manager brought in over the past couple of seasons have taken time to settle. But we have a crop of experienced players and some good youngsters coming through, so this squad is going to go from strength to strength."

"Over the last few months we have shown we are back to our best," said Becks. "And that consistency is there for all to see."
