At a press conference yesterday Joan Laporta stated that Beckham will be at the Nou Camp next year no matter who wins the presidential elections.
"If I do not win the election, I will hand the transfer over to the man who does,"
It is also believed news of the transfer has boosted his place in the opinion polls and he is now only 3% behind leader Lluis Bassat.
