Michael Carrick sang the praises of Dimitar Berbatov after his goal in the 2-0 win against Blackburn Rovers.

The Bulgarian striker had missed a couple of goalscoring chances in the first half of the game but his stunning volley ten minutes into the second half helped United to a 2-0 win against Rovers at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

"It was a tremendous volley," Carrick told MUTV.

"That's what he's all about. We've seen him do it before and hopefully we'll see it many more times.

"He oozes quality in the final third and he perhaps could have had one or two more today."
