Berbatov - Penalty Miss Hurt

"I am probably the only player in the dressing room who hasn't won the important medals," said Berbatov. "I sit there watching the other guys show their medals and talk about what it is like to win the Premier League or Champions League and I think to myself, 'I want one of those'.

"I can't join in with the conversations sometimes because I haven't done what they have done. It hurts to miss a penalty in a big game and it can be difficult for a player to come back from it. But we have so many big games coming up that it cannot play on my mind.

"I am now at the club that is first to do everything. We have played some great football this season, but maybe now is the time to show the other side of our game, the fighting spirit. That is what we showed against Porto in the last round. We will have to fight like a team against Arsenal because they can be very dangerous.

"The great teams know when to play entertaining football and they also know when it is right to just survive and fight for the win.

"I can become a better player. People should know that I am always fighting and working to improve myself. I can improve because the guys are great, first of all on the field and also off the field.

"That is the best thing I have found about Manchester United - that we play like a team. We support each other all the time and that is the great strength of this club. My record against Arsenal is OK. I think that maybe I scored a couple of goals against them. They are a great team - but we are Manchester United and we are the best team in Europe at the moment.

"If we play at our best and play like a team then I think we can go to the final. These are the games that I joined Manchester United for, trying to win the Champions League and the Premier League. This is why I came here."
