George Best was in hot water again as his wife, Alex, flew
home from holiday in Malta amid claims he had secret
meetings with another woman.

A Sunday newspaper reported Paula Shapland's claims that
Best has been having secret trysts with her.

Alex's mother Cheryl Pursey, speaking from her home in
Sutton, Surrey, said that she had spoken to her daughter
yesterday (Sunday).

She said: "She is feeling rather hurt, betrayed and angry.
She doesn't know what the future holds."
