George Best could be in line for a return to soccer as an ambassador for Premier League Portsmouth. Best says he has held talks on the issue with his friend, Portsmouth owner Milan Mandaric.

"The club is buzzing. I'm speaking to Milan and I'm hopeful we'll come up with something soon," the former European Footballer of the Year told BBC radio.

"I like to think I still know a bit about the game and one area I can work in is with the youth set-up."
