TEDDY SHERINGHAM insists Jermain Defoe is sharper than Ruud van Nistelrooy.
 
Sheringham, 37, said:

“Defoe is an outstanding signing, a really exciting capture for the club. He’s going to score goals and is a great addition to the squad. Defoe is not even like a another former Tottenham goal- scorer Gary Lineker, he’s more of a Van Nistelrooy — but in a sharper sort of way.”
