BIG FAT RON

Paul Scholes did a magnificent job for Manchester United
from the left side of midfield and was my man of the match.
But I still don't think that's where Sir Alex should use him
this season. The downside of playing Scholes in that
position is that he gets in the box far less than when he's
operating off the front and for me that's a waste because
he's the best goalscoring midfielder in Europe.

That's why I feel he should be used by United in a more
orthodox position behind Van Nistelrooy. He can still get
involved in build-up play but is then much more able to get
in the box and finish things. He and Van Nistelrooy can both
make tracks for the penalty area and that's a sight no
opposition manager wants to see.
