BIG MOUTH STRIKES AGAIN

Keano is determined to stop putting himself in trouble with his interviews.

Speaking to the club magazine he said:

"I think as I start getting a bit older I'll have to start drawing back a bit - on the
pitch and in interviews too

"Doing an interview is a bit like an acting role. The problem with me I think is,
over the last year, is that I've probably been too honest - especially on the
media side of things.

"I don't think I'm going to start sitting on the fence but I will maybe have to
step back a bit because I realise that things I say will get blown out of
proportion.

"Basically I sometimes think to myself 'I don't need to give people the
ammunition to have a pop at the team or me.

"It's come to the point where I think enough is enough. I've done my bit, I've
had a hectic few months regarding the media.

"It's important now I concentrate on my football but then my football always
comes first anyway.

"There's no way I'd ever be sidetracked by anything else."
