Blues fans who cannot stomach red ketchup on derby day are in for a treat thanks to a new sauce in the team's colour.

Manchester City chef John Benson-Smith has whipped up a unique treat for home fans who want nothing to do with anything red at Saturday's eagerly-awaited clash with United.

For the first time, 3,500 guests enjoying pre-match hospitality at the City of Manchester Stadium will be offered blue tomato sauce with their gourmet treats.

However reports of a nice tasting Skol lager being the next to get the treatment have yet to be confirmed.
