BLAKE OUT FOR REST OF SEASON

From fishal site:

'Blake, who scored a superb individual effort in the Premier Reserve League win at Moss Lane, broke the fibula bone in his left leg in an innocuous challenge.

The 18-year-old Cambridge-born striker underwent an operation later that night.

A club spokesperson said: "Sylvan underwent an operation on Thursday night. The operation went well but he will miss the rest of the season."

The fibula is the calf bone, a smaller bone that runs parallel to the tibia (main shin bone).

The unfortunate injury calls time, for this season at least, on an impressive partnership the young forward had struck up with Giuseppe Rossi, United's other scorer against Middlesbrough.'
