BOARD MEETINGS IN FLORIDA!!!

United will hold some of their board meetings in Florida under the Glazer family regime.

With the American tycoons expected to buy up the remaining two per cent of shares, owned by die-hard Reds, by compulsory purchase, their takeover is nearing completion.

That means the running of the club is currently in a state of flux, with details of its governance yet to be fully thrashed out by the new owners.

A United spokesman said: "We don't yet know where board meetings will be held, but some of the meetings over the last few months have been by video conference, so it will be perfectly possible to hold the meetings without everyone being in the same room.

"But the Glazers have also said they want to come over for some of the games.

"It is likely to be a combination, some in the UK, possibly some in Florida and some by video."
