The Guardian reports:

Manchester United may be boosted by the return of Gabriel Heinze, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville for Sunday's match against Liverpool at Old Trafford. Heinze, who has missed two games with a hamstring injury, is back in full training, Ferdinand's cricked neck will be monitored and Neville should have recovered from a calf problem.

Ferguson, said:

“We will wait to see the extent of Rio's injury but Ryan will be OK. Heinze is training well and has an outside chance. We have also wanted to give Gary Neville a full week's training before the Liverpool match.”

Ronaldo in the Mirror:

“We can put an even bigger gap between us and Liverpool in the title race. Liverpool is such a massive game for us. It is always a fantastic game for both the players and the supporters.

“In a game between such big rivals you never really know what the outcome is going to be. But we all know that Sunday's game is extra special this time, not just because of the rivalry between the clubs.

“We see them as genuine title contenders but they have already dropped quite a few points. I know Liverpool are always a hard team to play against but we are playing at home and we have 70,000 supporters behind us, so everything is there for us to win.

“We are playing fantastically well at the moment and all the players are full of confidence. So I think we can definitely take the three points off Liverpool.”
