BROWN ON COURSE

Manchester United defender Wes Brown is on course to return to action before the end of November after resuming full training on Monday.

However, after Brown made a training return, Ferguson said:

"The main thing is he is looking terrific. He is completely over the injury, his work in the gym has been great, his strength is there and he is now in that really important part of getting back into the games. Wes is training with the first team on Monday"

Ferguson has pencilled in the Carling Cup tie at West Brom on 2 December as a possible comeback date but says there is no pressure on Brown to rush back.

"If he gets a game or two behind him he could maybe play in the League Cup tie," the Reds boss added. "That is a possibility and a target for the lad. I am not saying it is a definite target, but it is something for him."
