Brown To Stay With United?

Newcastle are reportedly said to be interested in signing the United defender, who has recently turned down a new deal at the club and will be available to leave next summer on a free transfer unless a new deal can be agreed upon.

However, Allardyce has said that he can't see United allowing Brown to leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window.

"Wes Brown is not going to be available in January," he told The People newspaper.

"He may leave at the end of the season.

"The speculation comes round because he supposedly turned a contract down, but I can't see Sir Alex letting him leave with Gary Neville being injured."
