Former Manchester United and England midfielder Bryan Robson has been named England skipper for The Legends: England v Ireland which takes place at Fulham's Craven Cottage on Thursday October 9th live on ITV4, kicking off at 7.45pm.

The current confirmed Republic of Ireland squad contains Manchester United full back Dennis Irwin, Arsenal and Crystal Palace midfielder Eddie McGoldrick, Charlton midfielder Mark Kinsella, Middlesbrough defender Alan Kernaghan and West Ham, Newcastle and Sunderland striker David Kelly.
