BUTT ARRESTED

The Police have arrested Manchester United star Nicky Butt over an alleged nightclub assault.

Police confirmed the 28-year-old player had been questioned following the allegations that were made by a woman.

The Manchester United midfielder was then released on bail without charge, pending further inquiries.

A complaint of assault was made on Sunday, 4 May, following an incident at Brasingamen's nightclub in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
