Manchester United have been linked with a £6m move for West Ham United's England goalkeeper David James. Some reports claim that Roy Carroll will be going the other way in a swap plus cash deal. While some more extravagant journo's claim Barthez is off to AC Milan for a similar fee. Obviously if any deal does happen it won't be until January when the transfer window opens again.
