We all know what to expect by now.

Fergie will again sit in the stand at Leeds as he completes his two-match touchline ban.Ferguson will relay instructions pitch-side to coach Mike Phelan via a phone link.

Ferguson said:
"Nicky Butt, Eric Djemba-Djemba, David Bellion and Diego Forlan will all play.It will be a mix of that and the first-team squad, which is exactly the way we have always approached it. Roy Carroll will also play."

Ryan Giggs said:
"We had a good run last year and had some great games, like Chelsea, Blackburn and Liverpool in the final. This game doesn't get any bigger either, as it is against Leeds, one of our fiercest rivals.A lot of lads are used to hostile atmospheres. You begin to enjoy it and relish it. But I don't know what the manager is going to do. He has sometimes rested players and brought in others who haven't played that many games. He has also got that mixture of experience and maybe younger lads will come in. No matter what team the manager puts out it will be capable of winning. It always is."

Leeds manager Peter Reid will rest David Batty ahead of Arsenal's visit at the weekend and Jermaine Pennant is cup-tied so he will have to make changes from the side who lost to Liverpool on Saturday.

"Hopefully we can get a positive result to change the way things have been going for us because we can't keep having these hard-luck stories," Reid said.

"It's driving me mad saying we're playing well and not getting a result. You can only say that for so long. So it would be tremendous if we could get a result against Manchester United."
