Carrick Out For At Least A Month

Scans have shown that the United midfielder sustained a broken bone in his right foot during the 2-1 defeat at Anfield on Saturday.

"Michael's injury hasn't turned out well for us," manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed.

"He'll be out for four to six weeks, which isn't good news."
