CARROLL SITS AND WAITS

Roy Carroll is hoping that he will get another chance to prove himself before the season ends.

'Tim (Howard) has got the spot at the moment but I will sit tight and hope something might happen,' He told MUTV.

'I have played 29 games so far this season, which is the best I have managed since I came here four years ago.

'There are still another nine Premiership games and maybe two more in the FA Cup left to play this season and hopefully I will get a chance to play in some of them.'

And on United's season he said:

'The Milan result was a big disappointment for us all,'

'We needed to bounce back from that and the win at Southampton last week allowed us to do that.

'Hopefully we can go all the way in the FA Cup again as well as maintaining our form in the league.'
