CHELSKI BUILD UP

Damien Duff:

“You don't spend £150million to be runners-up and we want to
win everything we're involved in. It's good to be involved
in such a great squad and it's all about being up there at
the end of the season. We'll have to lift ourselves for
Sunday as it's a huge game. It's unusual to have a six-
pointer so early in the season and we're looking forward to
it."

Joe Coke:

“We want to get the right result against every team but
particularly against the champions. They're flying high at
the minute and won again so it's important to get the right
result.

“We'll have to finish our chances as there won't be many as
they're an excellent unit. When we get a chance we'll have
to put it away. It'll be a real test of how far we've come
as a team and that's how people are going to look at it. But
there's no reason to fear them. We think we've got enough to
trouble them and will be looking to give them a real game.”

Phil Neville:

"It's a mouth-watering game and one the public wants to see
more than any other. Whenever we go down there it's usually
a big game but that has been intensified by what has
happened down there since the summer. It's been fascinating
to watch the developments.

"At the end of last season Chelsea were struggling a lot
financially. One man has come in and taken everyone by
surprise. Abramovich has signalled his intentions with the
signings he has made. I don't think he's looking long-term -
he wants success now. With the players Chelsea have bought
they have the ability to do it.

"They aren't youngsters who will take time to develop, they
are world-class players who have played in many countries
and in major tournaments. And they haven't just got five or
six of them, they have about 20. When you put that kind of
talent together, you get a good team and that's why they
will be a threat throughout the season."

Tim Howard:

"Anyone who thought they wouldn't gel so quickly is silly.
They have some world-class players and they have proved it
with their performances so far this season.

"Sunday is a huge game for us because it is so important to
win our matches against the teams in front. There is no
secret formula, we just have to go out and do it."

Fergie:

"It has been a strange fixture down the years because we
seem to do well at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea have an
excellent record at Old Trafford.

"They will present us with a huge challenge but we can draw
confidence from some terrific successes down there.

"I really think it will be a brilliant game. There will be
so many good players on the pitch I can't see how it can be
anything else.

"The way the league has shaped up, the Chelsea game could be
a title decider," said Fergie. "The three of us are not
making mistakes, it could come down to games between us.

"No one else will get in amongst us now. We all know the
title is between ourselves, Arsenal and Chelsea. We've been
there before and experience is crucial.

"Chelsea have spent a lot of money on players, but Ranieri
can only play 11 of them on Sunday," said Fergie.

"They've added some fantastic players but that brings with
it the problem of who to pick. He's got four world-class
strikers there, and leaving two of them out is a hard
decision.

"The more money and more players you buy, the more difficult
the choices and the greater the pressure. That expectation
is there for every manager now, and it never goes away.

"The good thing for us is that against Chelsea we'll be
playing a team who think they have to beat us, and will be
going all out to do so."
