CITY LEEDS AND LIVERPOOL
Robbie Fowler looks set to move to Manchester City after Leeds United agreed a fee in the region of £7m with the Maine Road club. The England striker, who has been at Elland Road barely a year after his £11m move from Liverpool is now set to enter talks over personal terms after Leeds gave him permission to speak to City. Fowler becomes the latest player to exit from the cash-strapped Yorkshire club after the summer departures of Rio Ferdinand and Robbie Keane and last week's loss of Lee Bowyer and Olivier Dacourt.
