"If the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Milan did not make an offer for me, I would not play for second class clubs like a Manchester City," said Recber, responding to claims that City had been watching him.
"After the match with Galatasaray my agent Pini Zahavi will be in Istanbul.
"We will hold talks with Fenerbahce first, as I have been here for ten years now.
"When I do sign, it will be a four-year deal for that club.
"Money has only been an issue for me, since I spoke about leaving Fenerbahce."
Recber's agent Pini Zahavi confirmed to planetfootball.com that talks are continuing and he currently does not know what he will decide.
"He has not made any decision yet and to be honest I don't know which way he will go," Pini Zahavi (Rustu's agent) said.
"In my opinion, I think he is the best goalkeeper in the world and could be the best Bosman signing ever.
"He is 29 and is now at his peak.
"There are a number of clubs looking at him, as is well publicised.
"Three or four of the biggest clubs in England and from the top of The Premiership are among them."
