CITY YOUTH TEAM FAILS

City’s youth team lost last night’s semi-final match with
Middlesbrough at Maine Road. The 90 minutes finished at 1-1
which took the game into extra time. Middlesbrough scored
again on the 99th minute and City went out.

The defeat means that the prospect of an all-Manchester
final has disappeared. United take on Charlton tomorrow
night in the other semi final.
