Cantona has landed a deal with London production company Harry Nash.

Harry Nash's directors have made award-winning ads for the likes of Volkswagen, Adidas and Supernoodles as well as rock videos, including Turn by TRAVIS.

Harry Nash bosses hope Eric will be able to call on friends from showbiz and sport to appear in their films.

They first became aware of his screen talents after seeing him play a sinister ringmaster in the current Nike TV ads,they were also impressed by his 10-minute untitled film telling the story of an elderly man's dying days.


Eric, who has his own Marseille-based production company called Rascasse, said:

"The cinema is one of my enduring passions.I hope I have the talent to direct successful UK campaigns.I'm motivated by a challenge and I love working with actors and actresses who give off a certain passionate sense of who they are and who remain true to themselves whatever the part they portray."

Harry Nash's executive producer Kate Elson said:

"We love people who don't have that much experience but have that spark of talent.Rascasse complements our roster with directors who come from varying creative backgrounds, ranging from photography to features."
