Congratulations to Sir Alex Ferguson and Man United

Are the other teams intimidated by United as claimed by Mancini the Man City boss? Or are they just that good? Are they as good as the 1999 treble winning team?

When Everton beat the Red Devils 1-0 in the opening fixture of the season I must admit it I thought it would be a season of struggle but what a signing Robin Van Persie was. It makes you wonder where Arsenal would have been with his goals this season. Man City made no significant signings during the season and struggled to put teams away.

As long as Fergie is still manager I feel United will still be the team to beat. Spurs, if they keep Bale they might push the two Manchester clubs and I hope Everton cling to Moyes and get cash to spend. Chelsea will also be in the running depending on who the manager is, will it be Mourinho? I have my doubt's because of the previous history with the owner.

Arsenal must be concerned that they have for an 8th season running gone without a trophy. They might think its ok to finish in the top 4 season after season but fans want silverware!

It has been a good season but the title race was over after Christmas. Let's hope next season we see a close fight for the title like the wonderful climax of last season.
