"We did battle our way through. That is the least we could do.
"We didn't play brilliantly well, but we seem to have been saying that for the past five or six matches.
"We have been digging in and grinding out results. We did that again against Rangers - we looked after each other out there."
However Keano is less forgiving towards the Scots.
"They will probably feel disappointed they haven't got a result,
"But we have been down this road before and sometimes in European games you don't get what you deserve.
"It has happened to us before. Credit to our lads we kept going and with a bit of quality may have scored a second goal."
