CRISIS? WHAT CRISIS?

"From a week ago having a little crisis, supposedly, we are now three games forward and have won all three. So it is not all doom and gloom"

"We couldn't afford to lose any more games and it is still the same now. We have to keep this unbeaten run going.

"It is only three games but this is how it starts, from scrappy performances like Tottenham on Saturday and this one all about resilience and fight."

"We had to dig deep. Germany is always a difficult place to come to.

"Discipline was important in the second half. It was hard work and they put a lot of effort into it.

"We should have had a penalty and had a couple of chances on the break when we should have killed them off."

Ferdinand:

"It was a good performance and going forward this was some of the best football we have played this season. On the counter-attack in the second half we could have done a bit better. I am not sure the boys have been lacking confidence but we certainly haven't been playing as well as we can.”

"We showed glimpses in this game of our potential. The back four defended well and the team defended well as a whole. We were made to defend in the second half as we knew we would but I think we came through it well."
