CUP FINAL TEAM NEWS

Giggs is described as "touch and go" to make the final.

"I felt my thigh at the end of the first half. I thought that it might ease off in the
second half but it didn't so I came off as a precaution" said Giggs.

"It was a big disappointment for Diego because it was a big night for him but
lucky for me I could go on and get a couple of goals.

"It's nice to come to a place like this and score. It is always special. We fully
deserved it. Confidence is now high going into Sunday's game."

Fergie is worried about Giggs' chances of being fit:

"I am worried about it but we will have to wait and see how he goes on"

Mikael Silvestre broke down in training in the Stadio Delle Alpi on Monday
night and is a doubt for Sunday.

Ferguson has revealed Silvestre has "little chance" of being fit enough to play
at The Millennium Stadium.

Wes Brown (hamstring) and Paul Scholes (groin) didn't travel to Italy with the
Reds' squad.

Scholes is the more likely of the two to recover in time to be available for
selection against Liverpool.

Forlan, meanwhile, is definitely out of contention for the final and is expected
to be sidelined for a further two to three weeks.

O'Shea came off during the second half after taking a bang on the head but is
expected to recover fully in time for the final.

Surely despite these problems we can still beat Liverpool. Why not have a bet
