David Beckham's hair in news shocker

Waddle: How Becks could look come June....
That is the claim of Ray Seymour, secretary of The National Hairdressers Federation, as revealed in the Daily Express this morning.

With Beckham's hair now longer on the top than the back and sides, the `style icon` could have a fully fledged mulled by the time the World Cup Kicks off in the far east.

"He pushes the boundaries of style with haircuts like the mohican and he has made the skinhead very trendy again," Seymour said about Becks.

"The way David is growing his hair is definitely the way a mullet is started. It must be long on top and at the back and very short at the sides.

"But having a mullet is very unusual nowadays because they are just not trendy. It will be David's biggest challenge to make it fashionable but I am sure he will pull it off.

This will of course mean that every eight year old in the country will have to sport the bizarre cut, leading to a nation of 80's Glenn Hoddle and Chris Waddle lookalikes.

Whether they will all sing as badly as the aformentioned pair remains to be seen.
