Malcolm Glazer's plan according to the M.E.N. is that United will is for United to
get things right on the pitch and pave the way to glory.

One of the numerous Glazer sources told M.E.N. Sport: "United will never be a
selling club. The philosophy is to get it exactly right on the pitch and everything
else will follow. That is why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers went from zero to Super Bowl in eight years.

"The belief is that the club should be unrivalled in the transfer market with the
necessary funds always available for the best players in the world."

Do they seriously think United fans are so stupid as to believe that?

Meanwhile members of Shareholders United and IMUSA have held talks with
City financier Keith Harris about the threat of Malcolm Glazer.

Shareholders United spokesman Oliver Houston said: "We decided to meet Keith to see if there are any ways he may be able to assist moves to block Glazer's takeover attempt."
