United's assistant boss Carlos Queiroz has confirmed Bosingwa is one of a number of players that the club could be interested in signing as a long term replacement for Gary Neville.

"There are some Porto players good enough to play for United if they want to. Jose is one of them," Queiroz has told the Daily Mail.

"He is a very good player and we are keeping an eye on him."
