The United centre-back, who sustained an ankle injury during the Carling Cup Semi-Final game against Derby County last month, completed the full ninety minutes of United's Reserves sides 2-0 win at Altrincham's Moss Lane ground on Thursday night.
The Northern Ireland international defender will now come into contention for a place in the United first team squad for the FA Cup 5th Round tie against Derby at Pride Park on Sunday.
