"They are scared and have been hawking league match ticket books around to members.
"Those members who have bought the new LMTBs won't be buying match day tickets any more - and United have always preferred matchday tickets because they make more revenue out of them, as those are the fans most likely to shop in the megastore and buy other things at the ground.
"The fact that United have been begging people to take LMTBs proves we are having an effect."
